Nick Dow

Nick Dow

Originally a Londoner, Nick became a nationally known singer of traditional songs in the 1970s before 'dropping out' of the folk scene to concentrate on refurbishing gypsy caravans. Now he is singing again and his warm, rich voice and sparkling guitar work guarantee an enjoyable night.
This will be his third visit to Bits and Pieces.

Here are some recent videos of Nick, filmed by Nancy Catherall who’s mum and dad run Burnley Folk Club.

Nick commented: "She has a degree in Film Arts and is currently working in a supermarket which is a criminal waste of talent and ability. If anybody can use a good film maker contact me  Hopefully she will get her dream job soon."
